About this website T&C licence

You have a simple website. You do not sell anything from it. Visitors have no opportunity to upload, download or otherwise interface with your pages, so you do not need lavish contractual protection.

You may wish to:

• promote offline sales of goods or services;
• provide price lists or explain about products or services;
• provide a simple shop window for your trade or profession;
• publish simple information like the results of a cricket or tennis match;
• provide information about absolutely anything.

To be effective at all, you must set up this document in some way that requires a visitor to click to accept these terms. If you cannot do that, a visitor is not bound.

However, this document also provides protection to you. If a visitor were to choose not to sign to it, it would be difficult for him to claim that he has lost money as a result of using it. Our strong limitation of liability provisions do provide low level protection. We also provide contractual protection to all of your intellectual property - text, software, website, domain name, and so on.
