Law Professionals! Draw documents for marketing leads and royalty
What new documents?
1.
We require additional documents for the following jurisdictions:
England & Wales
Scotland
Australia
New Zealand
India
South Africa
Ireland
2.
Net Lawman documents are mostly "general company and commercial". We need documents for any specialism. The most obvious gaps today are:
All employment law - original docs and example completed applications to tribunal and model replies
Finance and banking
Construction, mining and engineering
Purchase and supply
County court claims and defences - basic example text docs. We could sell 1000 versions at least.
3.
Increasingly, people want action against a local authority or central government. We guess that sets of letters and particulars of claim, with example NI and maybe other forms, would sell well.
4.
We suggest you start by searching from this page link to main document cats page for documents about your subject(s). Look for gaps where you could enter new document variations to what we have or a whole new subject.
5.
If you provide ten documents where we have two or three, we shall probably withdraw ours and sell only yours. If ours are best sellers, yours will compete.
6.
If your documents are too similar to ours, it is unlikely that they will attract extra sales, so we shall not accept them.
7.
If, after we have published your set, someone comes along with a new set which duplicates yours, we shall prefer yours as first comer. But we may allow sets to compete if the new ones are excellent.
8.
We are happy with the documents we have in the following categories
8.1
Residential tenancy
8.2
Commercial leases
8.3
Web site terms and conditions
Tips to best selling?
1.
If we offer a single document of a title, such a “business lease” it will sell. If we offer ten variants, named as “office lease”, Shop lease”, “lease of open storage land”, we shall sell many more. There are two reasons for this. In the first place a buyer prefers a version which resonates with his requirement. In the second place, by offering multiple versions, we show the extent of your expertise. There are no rules as to how many of any document we might sell, but 10 versions will probably sell 3 times as many, in all, as a single version.
2.
In some areas of law, multiple versions require differentiating by reference to different law. Example HSE policies. In other areas, the differences can be very small (and so take very little of your time to produce.
3.
Good “packs” sell well. A customer appreciates a complete solution to his problem and not merely one step. You will sell more documents and obtain more clients if your document range provides that solution. If you provide all the documents a buyer might want in relation to your specialism, you become the de facto expert in that subject.
4.
We also ask you to submit information articles. They will be published under your name, with a link to relevant documents drawn by you, if any. However, we can assure you that info pages provide a very strong link to your professionalism and strong re-assurance that you know the law. The tone of any article should appeal to your audience.
5.
Your name will appear as the draftsman on every document introduction page, so people looking at that document will see you without even buying the document. Your name is constantly before your target audience.
