For services other than provision of documents and forms:
The following notes are extracted from our terms and conditions and are given for guidance only.

We charge €120 plus VAT per hour on work for you. Probate work is charged at €180 per hour.

This includes time spent reviewing your documents, advising you by telephone or e-mail, as well as afting letters and documents.

We will give you an estimate wherever possible. Everyone hates open ended professional work.

You must make a cash-in-advance payment before we can start work. You can top up your account in any sum, at any time. However, the minimum first payment is €120.

VAT is charged in addition to all quoted prices, at the current UK rate of 17.5%.

We do not charge extra for normal office expenses! We do charge for travel if you request this.

You will be invoiced automatically when you pay us through the site. If you pay by cheque, no invoice will be issued.

We can tell your account balance at any time you ask.

When your work is complete, we will return any outstanding money on your account.

The solicitors’ monopoly prevents us from conducting litigation or drafting documents to
transfer real property, but we are permitted to advise you on any such documents.
Example of help we give every day:

- Client buys tenancy agreement after emailing the Legal team about which document suits her best. She knows she needs it but is not certain in what format.
- Client sends us a message but does not give all the information we need.
- We contact client by email to gather the additional information. We agree a start cost of €500 - not quite a fixed price but we both know where we are aiming.
- Client pays €500 into her new account through our website, and then telephones to confirm it is done.
- We look at the complete picture and ring client for clarification of a few points.
- We produce first draft agreement and e-mail it to client within 48 hours of payment.
- Client comes back with comments and additional points.
- We produce second draft and send it to client. Client rings with a couple of final points.

*Based on commercial specialist rate of €400 per hour and solicitor taking instructions manuscript across a desk. Total time 4 hours.
