Comprehensive HSE manual for use in the health and
hospitality industry. Contains industry specific health and
safety measures
About this document
Health, safety and welfare at work are the subject of strict and all pervading legislation. Compliance is essential.
This health and safety manual is a comprehensive ‘all round’ manual for use in the health and hospitality industry. We have identified the main causes of accidents and ill health within the industry and targeted these aspects in detail. Within the industry there are many different areas of health and hospitality, from food processing to working with the general public. This manual deals with the most important health and safety issues within the industry as a whole.
We would love to include industry specific detail for every industry, but special processes entail specific risks. The more specialised and dangerous your operations, the more you must liaise with your H&S inspectorate and take detailed advice on aspects of your H&S policy which will require additions to your manual. What we have provided in this version is comprehensive and detailed provisions generally. As you will deduce from the size of these HSE manuals, they are very thorough.
