Why have HSE manuals and policies?
Health, safety and welfare at work are the subject of strict and all pervading legislation. Compliance is essential.
Who will use this manual?
IE-HSE005 is a comprehensive ‘all round’ manual for use in the auto-mechanical industry. It ensures that safety in your workshop or garage is given top priority. We have identified the main causes of accidents and ill health in garages and workshops and targeted these aspects in detail. Within the industry there are many different areas such as car repair, maintenance, sheet work and paint work to name a few. This manual deals with the most important health and safety issues within the industry.
Processes specific to your business entail specific risks. The more specialised and dangerous your operations, the more you must liaise with your H&S inspectorate and take detailed advice on aspects of your H&S policy which will require additions to your manual.
