Tenancy agreement for furnished holiday flat for Ireland

When to use:
If you have a holiday house or flat to let or rent, you will need this agreement. Here is a similar version specially for a caravan.

Note: we offer two versions of this agreement:

IE-PR521 is an agreement to be signed and returned to the property owner
IE-PR522 is a "terms and conditions" document providing broadly the same provisions

This document is in plain English but very comprehensive. Like all leases, this letting agreement has been designed primarily to protect the interest of the landlord.

These leases are suitable for:

• terms of letting of a furnished house, flat or caravan to a group of people for a holiday;
• a period of up to three months, but more usually one or two weeks.  

It is not suitable for:

• a business letting;
• a lease for more than three months;
• a residential letting.  

This document includes provision for:

• all usual legal provisions;
• rent payment: paid monthly in advance, but can be changed to suit you;
• deposit by tenant;
• Landlord's access: if needed – you choose;
• landlord's choice of tenant's "promises" setting out what tenant can and cannot do ;
•  An inventory (provided in the document, with explanatory notes on how to use).
