The Southern Health Board (District Mental Hospitals) Order, 2002

DUBLIN
The Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 162, 165, 166 and all other enabling sections in that behalf of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 (as amended and as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 ), hereby orders as follows:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Southern Health Board (District Mental Hospitals) Order, 2002.
2.
The Acute Psychiatric Unit, Tralee General Hospital is hereby designated as a district mental hospital to serve the administrative county of Kerry.
3.
The following hospitals are hereby designated as district mental hospitals to serve the administrative county of Cork:
St. Stephen's Hospital, Glanmire
Bantry General Hospital
4.
The following acute psychiatric units are hereby designated as district mental hospitals to serve the county borough and administrative county of Cork:
Acute Psychiatric Unit, Mercy Hospital
Acute Psychiatric Unit, Cork University Hospital
