INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1989
 
  INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1989.
   
  The Government, on the request of the Minister for Industry and Commerce and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:
 
   
1. This Order may be cited as the Industry and Commerce (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1989.
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Industry and Commerce—
 
(a) conferred by or under the Export Promotion Acts, 1959 to 1983,
(b) in relation to international trade conferred by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order, and
(c) in relation to the Irish Goods Council under the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 (No. 16 of 1924),
  are hereby delegated to Terry Leyden, Minister of State at the Department of Industry and Commerce.
SCHEDULE
  Control of Exports Act, 1983 (No. 35 of 1983).
   
  Control of Imports Acts, 1934 to 1964.
   
  Restriction of Imports Act, 1962 (No. 20 of 1962).
   
  GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 5th day of September, 1989.
